24
It's my Birthday tomorrow and as im 24 it's just another day really. After 21 they just aren't the same. The usual Birthday celebrations will still take place though. Going out and drinking lots. Dinner tonight in town (Teppanyaki) which should then progress to somewhere else. Tomorrow I have a D&D ball at the old Exhibition Buildings. Heading in with Simon. Already Paid and hired a suit but yet to receive my ticket in the mail. Apparently somewhere along the lines someone got slack so I have to pick it up myself now at the door. Oh and apparently the computer couldn't find me a suitable match based on the vague questionare that had to be filled out ie name, age, fav drink, fav music etc etc etc so im going solo. Hopefully it'll be a huge night. Well it better be as tomorrow is the day I was born. I crave attention dammit.

MORE RAMBLINGS
Kinda finding im bored with my work and living back at home already after only 2 weeks. Funny that. Oh well i shouldn't really complain i guess despite finding midweek boredom frustrating. Probably cause im alone more now than i have been in the past six months. Im used to the constant company of people my own age.

Went for a big drive in my trusty Ford last night all the way down towards the beach area. Guess I was a little bored eh.

Been listening to the latest offerings by Something for Kate and New Order. I think they've both been out for a little while now but I haven't really had a chance to listen to them until now. Both are great! Oh yeah and I finally got my hands on that U2 Elevation DVD which is rather awesome. Only criticism is that I reckon it woulda been better had they not jumped the gun and perhaps waited until later on in the tour to make the film. The show got somewhat better as the year went on. Still, I think it's my favourite of all the U2 gigs released over the years. Now if only they'd release that Slane gig. As far as i know it was actually caught on camera, directed by the same guy who did the Boston thing.

ROUTINE
So now i've been home for a little over a week and I must admit, it's good to be home for Summer. It's been a good week to, catching up with everyone and going out lots. I really love it here this time of year and although things at home seemed a little weird at first, it's sooo quiet here compared to the rush of London, i've settled in pretty well I think. My first night back at home was the best sleep i've ever had!.

In the first few days back I went to the new Tram Bar in Doncaster (rather average and full of 18yo's), a Hawaiin themed birthday party complete with a room full of hot women in bikinis and also to the Austalian Open afterparty at the Metro. Some very big nights there.

Back at work now trying to save up for the airfare back to Europe. It's funny how things at work seem exactly the same as when I left. Everyone's still in the same routine and it took me no time at all to realise where I was and what I was doing. Perhaps after a few weeks I'll be ready to head back but for now it's all good. St Kilda Festival next weekend as well. Bring it on!
